June Bug Boys at the Lavender Farm

During Lavender Daze at the farm join an old-time string band music from Hood River, Oregon! The Junebug Boys pick and sing their way through a wide variety of American string band music, touching upon Bluegrass, Old Time, Country, Swing, and Jug Band Music. Aaron Keim plays banjo and banjo ukulele, informing our performances with historical context and old-time credentials. Ryan Kolberg adds a strong foundation on the upright bass and incorporates a more modern feel to the bottom end. Larry Wyatt brings a strong bluegrass and country guitar and vocal to the group and is a long-time public school teacher. Kerry Williams’ virtuoso mandolin playing draws from many influences, including swing and Celtic music.
